Embroidery Study Group - Begins Jan 2023

 Embroidery Study Group - a FREE Zoom Group 

Embroidery was my very first craft, a zillion years ago, and in recent years, I have felt myself being drawn back to it…. I am proposing to start an Embroidery Study Group under the umbrella of CVFG.  It would be loosely based on Alabama Chanin’s Swatch of the Month Club and @k.j.turner on Instagram's a swatch a day project.  I propose this as a Zoom Group. 

We will start by talking about first projects & what we need:  fabric, threads, needles, stitch books.

I'll be posting on IG & TikTok (if I can keep it up) and my Blog thread on my website. 

Here is a sketch of my Study Group Concept…. We can start here and modify as we go….

• When we meet:
  • Sharing previous month’s swatches,
  • Lessons learned, tips, tricks,
  • General discussion… how might one incorporate this into a bigger project?
  • Set up next month's project & materials needed
