Finest Virginia Merino Wool: Matilda of Black Sheep Farm

The softness of my Nuno felted garments is essential so that you can comfortably wear my art clothing. I spend lots of time searching for the finest merino wool - this means that the fibers themselves are very fine/ small in diameter. I JUST received Matilda's beautifully prepared fleece (that's Matilda in front) as roving from Black Sheep Farm in Leesburg, VA. Many thanks to Martha Polkey, Shepherdess and member of the Chesapeake Fibershed. I cannot wait to naturally dye and make garments of this beautifully soft, USA-grown fine merino wool... Stay Tuned!
